Doctors Without Borders’ courageous physicians risk their lives each day to treat people in conflict zones without regard to their political affiliation.
Angel Heart Farm
From 2000 to 2007, Michael and his family lived on a 30-acre farm in Franklin, Tennessee, where they hosted Angel Heart Farm, a nonprofit organization providing free equine-assisted therapy for children facing chronic and life-threatening illnesses. Families cared for the horses, explored the farm, and spent time together during difficult medical journeys. Although many experiences were bittersweet, Angel Heart continues to serve families from around the world visiting Nashville's renowned hospitals, including St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Disabled American Veterans
Disabled American Veterans: American’s serviceman are hailed as heroes when serving however all too often following a physical or mental injury their contribution to our nation can be ignored or even forgotten entirely, which is why Michael strongly believes in supporting the DAV.
GetLit
Diane Luby Lane, the founder/director of Get Lit has dedicated the past two decades to bringing literature and poetry into the lives of Los Angeles’ youth thereby benefiting not only the trajectory of their lives but also the L.A. community as a whole.
